MCP server for market research
Ask your AI agent who is in a market
Before you build, see who in your niche already has visitors proceeding to payment: how many, how large, and whether they are growing. Megido answers this inside Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client.
Find growing scheduling tools for physiotherapy clinics, 3k–75k visits a month.
search_cohorts3 nichessearch_projects6 projects6 growing products fit. They sit in Clinic scheduling and patient booking software, a niche of 50–199 projects. The top three:
- Online booking with reminders and deposits for physio practices — Germany, 15k–75k visits a month, growing fast
- Patient intake forms and calendar sync for small clinics — Netherlands, 3k–15k visits a month, growing
- Class and appointment booking for rehab studios — Canada, 3k–15k visits a month, growing

What your agent can answer
Who is in a market
The players of a niche, the long tail included, not pages that merely mention the topic.
“Who sells scheduling software to dental clinics?”
Lists that match your numbers
A niche, 15k–75k monthly visits, growing last month, one country.
“Growing online courses in Spain at 15k–75k visits a month”
Who grew or fell last month
Across a whole niche at once.
“Which language-learning apps lost traffic last month?”
The shape of a market without naming anyone
Size, median quality index, the share of growing members.
“How crowded is the AI headshot market?”
Profiles of specific sites
Audience, traffic sources, search demand.
“Where does this competitor's traffic come from?”
Look-alikes of an idea or a product
The projects closest in meaning to an idea or to projects you have already found.
“Projects like these three, but for real estate”
What a niche looks like
Every niche comes with its shape: how large its members are, how many grew last month and where they are. Your agent reads it without revealing a single site.

Niches and projects come with a description, quality index, scale and growth, but no domain.
Pay per call
In credits: searching costs little, and revealing a domain or buying profile parts (audience, traffic sources, search demand) costs more. Any paid call can be estimated first.
What it does not tell you
- Revenue, prices or pricing model
- Traffic history beyond a twelve-month average and last month's change
- Technology
- Company financials

Questions
How does a site get into Megido?
A site enters when anonymized clickstream data shows its visitors going from the site to a payment page of a payment service or of a platform the site sells through, or to the site's page in a verified-revenue listing. This shows that people proceed to pay there, not how much the site earns or what it charges. What Megido is
Is every player of a niche in Megido?
No. Megido holds the sites whose visitors were observed proceeding to payment, so a niche in it is a sample of its paying players rather than a census, and a well-known product can be missing. Your agent can check the domains you know to see which of them are in.
How is this different from revenue directories?
Revenue directories list the startups that chose to publish their numbers. Megido shows the rest of a niche: the sites whose visitors proceed to payment, whether or not they publish anything. It has no revenue figures; for the startups that publish theirs, a directory complements it.
How fresh is the data?
Megido is a snapshot, not a live feed: the data of a project can be a few weeks to a few months old. Every answer names the date of its data, and your agent is instructed to tell you that date. Traffic is a twelve-month average with the change over the last month.
How accurate are the traffic figures?
They are estimates, not the sites' own analytics, and they come in bands. For small sites, read them as an order of magnitude: they tell a working business from a dead one, not 1,200 visits a month from 1,500.
Which AI clients does it work with?
Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP: Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and others. Chat apps connect by signing in with your Megido account; scripts and tools use an API key from the portal. Connect step by step
Do I need to write code?
No. You ask your agent in plain language and it chooses the calls. Developers can call the same server from their own code with an API key.
What do I see without revealing anything?
Niches and projects come with a description, a quality index, a scale band, growth and a main country. That is enough to size a market or shortlist players; you reveal only the projects you need named.
How long does a reveal last?
A reveal covers your whole organization for a set number of days, and so does a bought profile part. While it holds, the project comes with its domain at no further charge. When it lapses, the project turns anonymous, and revealing it anew costs the reveal price. Anonymous and revealed
Can I check domains I already know?
Yes. Your agent looks them up in the corpus; a domain that is found is revealed to your organization without the reveal price.
How does pricing work?
You pay in credits from your organization's balance: a base price per paid call, more to reveal a domain or buy profile parts. Listing the capabilities, reading the guide, sending feedback and estimating a call are free, and a paid call never charges more than its estimate. Prices follow your agreement. What costs what
Who sees my questions?
Megido receives what your agent sends in its calls, such as the description it searches for, and keeps a record of those calls. It never sees your conversation with the agent. The owners of your organization see its calls. Privacy Policy
How do I get access?
Access is by invitation: write to [email protected]. If your team already has an organization, its owner can invite you.
